  • Description: Open Cluster Messier 47 is the cluster on the left made up of a few bright stars, about 30 in total. NGC2423 on the right is made up more, but fainter stars. About 40 in total. In the upper-left of the image is a smaller cluster, NGC2425. There are about 30 stars in this cluster too.
