NGC 0891 – Spiral Galaxy in Andromeda

  • Description: NGC0891, an edge on 10th magnitude spiral galaxy located in Andromeda, approximately 32MLy away. Several small galaxies are also visible in the field such as UGC1859 in the upper left and small spiral PGC9101 in the bottom middle.

  • Camera: ASI533M with Chroma LRGB filters

  • Telescope: Astro-Physics 130EDT telescope at 1085mm

  • Exposure: 2hrs Luminance @ 5min per exposure plus 35min each Red, Green and Blue filters at 5min per exposure

  • Location: Cypress Hills Park near Elkwater AB

  • Imaged: September 2025
