  • Description: - AKA NGC 6341. A 6th magnitude Globular Cluster near the head of Hercules.

  • Filter: Chroma RGB

  • Scope: Astro-Physics AP130EDT, 1085mm at f/8.35

  • Guiding: ASI 220 on OAG

  • Exposure: 3hrs total at 30 x 2 minutes ea RGB

  • Location: Home in Calgary, Alberta under Bortle 9 skies during summer Nautical Dusk

  • Date: 2025-06-30

  • Notes: Imaged from my backyard in the bright City of Calgary AB Canada during summer Nautical Dusk as the sky does not get fully dark this far North at this time of the year. Though the details came out well, there is a lot of noise and were terrible background gradients to deal with. Processed in PixInsight with MSGC-MARS, BlurXT and NoiseXT.
