  • Description: - The Great Globular Cluster in Hercules. Also visible are the small spiral galaxy NGC6207 in the lower left, and a very small galaxy IC 4617 between them. The bright red star is HD 150998, a variable 6th magnitude red giant about 1400lyr away.

  • Scope: Astro-Physics AP130EDT, 1086mm at f8.35

  • Guiding: SBIG FW8G

  • Exposure: 5 x 10 minutes each per colour

  • Location: near Cayley, Alberta Canada, Bortle 4 skies.
