  • Description: - An showpiece planetary nebular in Lyra. This is the remains of a star similar to our sun that has reached the end of its normal life and blown off its outer layers, leaving a tiny, hot white dwarf star in the center which illuminates the expanding balloons of blown off gasses.

  • Camera: SBIG STT-8300M at -35C sensor temperature

  • Filter: Baader LRGB

  • Scope: Astro-Physics 130EDT, 1085mm at f/8.35

  • Guiding: SBIG FW8G

  • Exposure: 5 each Red, Green and Blue at 10 minutes per colour

  • Location: near Cayley AB, Canada, under Bortle 4 sky
