  • Description: - A large bright nebula in Cygnus. This is a lovely rosette like nebula sitting in a field of Milky Way stars with a string of Dark Nebula off to the right in the above image

  • Telescope: Astro-Physics AP92 telescope w 92TCC giving 488mm focal length at f/5.3.

  • Camera: SBIG STT-8300M @ -35C Sensor Temperature

  • Exposure: 12 Red, 12 Green and 12 Blue sub exposures of 5 min each for 180 minutes total through Baader RGB filters

  • Date: 2023-09-11 at 11C and 67%RH.

  • Location: Southern Alberta Star Party near Elkwater, Alberta and Cypress Hills Dark Sky Reserve under Bortle 3 skies

  • Processed in PixInsight with NoiseXT and BlurXT, then finished in Adobe Photoshop..
