Description: - This is a 5.4x3.6 degree wide field of
view off the bottom right corner star of the “Bucket” of
Ursa Major, aka the Big Dipper. I shot this to show the
relative size and brightness of Messier 97 “The Owl Nebula”
and Messier 108, a popular spiral galaxy beside M97. Merak is
the bright blue star in the upper right of the image and is
magnitude +2.3.
