NGC2423 - Star Cluster in Puppis
Description: There are two star clusters in this shot. The bright one is Messier 47 on the left, NGC2423 is the fainter one on the right. Also known as Melotte 70 and Collinder 153, it is bright at magnitude 6.7. 40 stars in an area about 19 arc minutes across.
