- Description: NGC7380 - Nebulosity in Cepheus, also known as The Wizard Nebula
but I have never understood why! This shot is a digital composite taken with the same
telescope but with different cameras and filters. Hydrogen-Alpha was taken in August 2005
with an ST-8XE camera and was used as the red channel. Colour was shot using RGB filters
in August 2012 using an STF-8300M and layered with the older image. I was never happy with
the RGB image, due to buggy firmware at the time most sub-exposures were ruined by the shutter
being left half open. By combining the older H-alpha shot, the image was saved.
