NGC7479 - Galaxy in Pegasus
  • Description: One of the nicer galaxies in Pegasus. NGC7479 is magnitude 11.6 and measures 4.1 x 3.1 arc minutes. If you look carefully, in the upper left is a small smudge - this is globular cluster Palomar 13. Glowing at magnitude 13.8 and only 0.7 arc minutes in size.
