IC405 (The Flaming Star), IC410, IC417 and Open Cluster M38 in Auriga (H-Alpha)

IC405, IC410, IC417, M38

IC405 - The Flaming Star Nebula (top) and IC410 (right side middle) are two dramatic nebulae in Auriga. Favourites of astrophotographers. In this super wide field view we also have IC417, the small nebula at bottom centre.
In the lower left corner is Open Cluster M38 which is a show-piece object visually as well as photographically.

This is the pure Hydrogen Alpha data that is combined with RGB data and found here: IC405_410_M38_IC417_HaRGB_FSQ_U16M.html
