Lynd's Dark Nebula 937 and NGC7027 in Cygnus - LRGB

LDN 937


LDN 937 is a dark molecular cloud of dust in Cygnus. This molecular cloud is part of our Milky Way galaxy. NGC7027 is the tiny reddish Open Cluster near the top / centre.


12/12/12 x 10 min each of RGB, 32x10 min Luminance
Camera: Moravian G4 (16803) w Gen II Astrodon RGB and H-Alpha
Scope: Astrophysics AP155EDF Refractor w Focus Boss II
Mount: Paramount MX
Guiding SBIG ST402ME attached to a Borg 60mm guidescope

RGB and Luminance processing in PixInsight;
Russ Croman's StarXTerminator was used to remove the stars from the Luminance and RGB to allow stretching of just the nebula. RGB stars were stretched separately then added back to the RGB Nebula.
