Sh2 114 HaRGB - The Flying Dragon Nebula in Cygnus

Sh2-114 in HaRGB

Can't find a lot of academic info on this one. Not hard to guess how it got its nickname.

Here's the H-Alpha (starless) that was used:

Sh2-114 H-Alpha (starless)

Camera: Moravian G4 w Gen II Astrdon 5 nm Ha and RGB
Scope: Astro-Physics AP155EDF w 4" FF and FocusBoss II motorized focuser
21 x 20min H-Alpha, 18 / 11 / 8  x 10min each of RGB
Mount: Paramount MX
Image acquisition via TSX and CCD-Commander
Processing in PixInsight: WBPP then for RGB: Gradient Correction, Colour Calibration, BlurX, NoiseX, SetiAstro Statistical Stretch, masked saturation boost to highlights.

For the H-Alpha: GradientCorrection, StarX, HistogramTransformation on the starless H-Alpha then the Ha+RGB was combined using HaRGB_Combine process.

Processing in Photoshop: Minor tweaks. Save-for-Web
