Sh2 114 HaRGB - The Flying Dragon Nebula in Cygnus

Sh2-114 in HaRGB

Can't find a lot of academic info on this one. Not hard to guess how it got its nickname.

Here's the the main part of the H-Alpha (starless) that was used:

Sh2-114 H-Alpha (starless)

Camera: Apogee U16M w Gen II Astrdon 5 nm Ha and RGB
Scope: 12.5" Planewave CDK
18 x 20min H-Alpha, 18 x 10min each of RGB
Mount: Paramount ME
Image acquisition via TSX and CCD-Commander
Processing in PixInsight: WBPP then for RGB: Gradient Correction, Colour Calibration, BlurX, NoiseX, SetiAstro Statistical Stretch, masked saturation boost to highlights.

For the H-Alpha: GradientCorrection, StarX, SetiAstro Statistical Stretch on the starless H-Alpha then the Ha+RGB was combined using HaRGB_Combine process.

Processing in Photoshop: Minor tweaks. Save-for-Web
