- Description: Index Catalogue entries 1805 and 1848 are rather large but faint nebula in Cassiopeia.
This shot was from within the city limits, using narrow band filters to get around light pollution. However,
it requires long exposures! IC1848 on the left side is also called the Baby Nebula or Soul Nebula. IC1805 is
often called the Heart Nebula.
- Camera: ZWO ASI2600MM at -15C
- Filters: Antlia 3nm H-alpha, OIII and SII filters, Antlia V-Pro for RGB star exposures
- Scope: Redcat 51 refractor at f4.9
- Exposure: 5 x 3 minutes for stars, 15 x 15 min Ha, 12 x 15min OIII, 13 x 15 min SIII. 10 hrs 42 min total.
