Open Cluster Messier 6
  • Description: Open Cluster Messier 6 and Cr337 in Scorpius. M6 is a really bright open cluster at magnitude 4.2, contains about 80 stars and is about the size of the moon. Cr337 to the lower left is dimmer at magnitude 7.7 holding about 30 stars. Very low to the horizon in southern Alberta but glorious from locations further south!
