- Description: Open cluster Messier 39 in Cygnus, also known as NGC7092. Only 30 stars in M39 but they are bright
and stand out well against the background Milky Way. Magnitude 4.6 covering 31 arc minutes so a nice
binocular target too. Note - diffraction spikes on the cluster stars are created by running two pieces
of black thread across the telescope lens.
