  • Description: Globular Cluster in Lyra. Often overlooked due to its more famous neighbour the Ring Nebula, M57 is a nice little globular cluster. Magnitude 8.4, 8.8 arc minutes across. Also known as NGC6779.

  • Filters: Baader RGB set.
  • Scope: Astro-Physics AP130EDT
  • Mount: Astro-Physics AP900QMD
  • Exposure: 2 x 10 minutes in Blue, 3 x 10 min in Green and Red. (scope hit the mount)
  • Location: near Elkwater, Alberta
