Messier 59
Description: Galaxy M59 is the bright elliptical galaxy on the right of center. M59 (NGC4621) shines at magnitude 10.6 and is 5.3 x 3.2 arc minutes in size. The brighter galaxy to the left is Messier 60. Right beside it is galaxy NGC4647, 2.9 x 2.3 arc minutes in size, magnitude 11.9.
