NGC1528-1545
  • Description: NGC1528 is a bright open cluster in Peseus. Also known as Melotte 23 and Collinder 47, this cluster is bright at magnitude 6.4, covers 23 arc minutes of sky and contains about 40 stars. In the lower right is dimmer NGC 1545 with only about 20 stars. Magnitude 6.2 but more compact at 18 arc minutes.
