Description: Galaxy NGC6946 and Open Cluster NGC6939 on the Cepheus/Cygnus border. 6939 (in Cepheus) is a cluster of about 80 stars, covering 7 arc minutes of sky and shining at magnitude 7.8. NGC6946 (in Cygnus) is a nice face-on spiral galaxy, 12 x 10 arc minutes in size and glowing at magnitude 9.6.
