NGC7000 - The North America Nebula
  • Description: The famous North America Nebula, located just off of Deneb, the northernmost bright star in Cygnus. Beside it is the Pelican Nebula which takes a bit more imagination to pick out. This was shot from the deck at home using narrowband filters for the nebula and RGB filters for the stars. For nebula colours I mapped Hydrogen-alpha to red, OIII to yellow and SII to blue.
