  • Description: Comet 135P/Schoemaker-Levy 8 - 1992f. This is NOT the famous Schoemaker-Levy 9 which crashed into Jupiter but the one before that. It was discovered photographically by the Schoemaker-Levy team using a small Schmidt camera atop Palomar Mountain. Small and dim but still a nice comet. More info can be found here.
